Christmas Jumper Design Competition

Our School Council had the very tricky job of judging all the entries for the Christmas Jumper Design Competition. After lots of careful discussion, they have selected the winners:

Reception - Evie Gardner
Year 1 - Rory Llewellyn
Year 2 - Hugo Murphy
Year 3 - Jemima Amphlet
Year 4 - Cillian McDermott-Roche
Year 5 - Violet Butler
Year 6 - Grace Arkell

Congratulations to our winners - your designs were festive, creative, and full of Christmas cheer! A festive prize has been presented to our winners in assembly today.

2024-25

28th March, 2025

Today, our SC members spoke brilliantly to the whole school about our 2 chosen charities: Toilet Twinning and Cotswold Friends.

SC are hosting a non uniform day on Monday 31st March, 2025 in exchange for a £1 donation. The money raise will go towards both charities. Thank you

Spring Term

Together, we have chosen new lines for our playground, which will hopefully be painted soon!

We have been discussing the importance of charity and we have decided that we would, as a school, like to raise money for 'Toilet Twinning' and 'Cotswold Friends'. We plan to run an assembly to tell you all about these incredible charities on Friday 28th March and hold a non-school uniform day on Monday 31st March for a £1 donation.

We have chosen £500 worth of new play equipment: skipping ropes, footballs, rugby balls. Hopefully coming soon! We are in the process of working on a rota so that the equipment can be used fairly by everyone!

Autumn Term, 2024

Our School Council worked extremely hard to plan and prepare our activities for our Christmas Fayre. The event raised £900 for our school.

We met with some of our school governors to discuss our lunchtimes and how we can improve them.

We spoke about our school values and what we can, as school councillors do to promote that our whole school family are demonstrating these at all times: in the classroom, on the playground, in clubs etc.
