At Temple Guiting C of E Primary School, we understand that life can sometimes be challenging. Families may need extra support, and our Early Help Offer is here to provide timely advice, guidance, and support to help your child thrive both at school and at home.

How We Can Support You


We provide a wide range of support for children and families, including:

  • Pastoral care from our staff and safeguarding team
  • Mental health and wellbeing support hub
  • Parent Support Advisor (PSA)
  • Breakfast and after-school clubs
  • Parent workshops and information sessions
  • Extra learning support (reading, maths, phonics)
  • SEND meetings
  • Outdoor learning experiences (Forest School)

We are here to discuss any concerns that may affect your child’s wellbeing, such as:

  • Behaviour or managing routines at home
  • Housing or financial concerns
  • Health or mobility challenges
  • Bereavement or loss
  • Bullying or cyberbullying
  • Domestic issues
  • Any other matters impacting your child

We have clear safeguarding procedures and protective measures in place, including online safety and prevention of exploitation.


Safeguarding & Child Protection


The Gloucestershire Safeguarding Children Partnership provides guidance for parents and professionals on keeping children safe and outlines early help options.

She is here to help with family and school matters. You can talk to her in confidence, and she won’t judge. She can also support you with:
