"We believe that education should be concerned with the personal development of the whole child: intellectual, physical, moral, spiritual, social, aesthetic and emotional. We aim to make learning vivid and real through diverse experiences, taught through a rich, broad and balanced curriculum.

Please browse our website and then come and visit us. We have a well-equipped contemporary premises providing a positive, family-oriented learning environment in the surrounds of the beautiful north Cotswolds. You will receive a very warm welcome."

David Ogden, Headteacher

Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive environment and a challenging learning experience, founded upon Christian values and beliefs. The best schools know that education is about the personal development of the whole child: intellectual, physical, moral, spiritual, social, aesthetic and emotional. We aim to provide a broad curriculum to nurture growth in all these areas. We recognise that the rate of development varies from child to child, therefore our curriculum and teaching methods are designed to help each child realise his or her maximum potential. By the time your child leaves, he or she will not only have gained in confidence and knowledge, but will have learnt to live harmoniously with their fellows within the framework of Christian beliefs and values. We are fortunate to be located in one of the finest rural settings in the north Cotswolds. You will receive a very warm welcome.Temple Guiting School is a Church of England School with ‘controlled’ status; the school is entirely maintained by the Local Authority (LA) and our fundamental ethos is Christian. Controlled Schools provide an opportunity for the Church of England and the State to combine in offering an education based on Christian principles. Under the term of the 1944 Education Act, the Church ceded ‘control’ of the School to the Local Authority (LA), which now meets the full cost of the School. The school maintains close links with Temple Guiting and Guiting Power Churches. The Rector who serves the Guitings and five other churches, together with a Lay Reader from Guiting Power, play an active part in the life of the school, by leading Acts of Worship and serving as Foundation Governors. The school expects all members of its community, whether they are pupils, staff, parents or governors to reflect the values expected in a Christian society. They will show care for others, respect for themselves and for the other members of the community and their property and a wish to do right not wrong.
