School closure work

 

Hello Class 3, well here we are again, back to home learning but luckily only for 1 day :) Once you have completed the work, feel free to email it over to me on cmabbett@templeguiting.gloucs.sch.uk

 

1. SPaG assessment - we haven't done one of these in a while. Mark after complete 

2. Number bonds to 100 (give yourself 10 mins to complete this task) Mark after complete

3. Adding and subtracting lengths (2 worksheets) (use column method to help) Mark after complete

4. PSHE, How do our actions effect those around us?

  • Who is at fault? 
  • Why are they at fault? 
  • Are any of the small birds worse than others? 
  • Is there a moral to the story? 
  • How would you feel if you were big bird? why?

 

I have set some work for you to complete on purple mash too if you have access to a device.

Times Tables

 

Year 3 and 4 are where it is important that we master our times tables. We work on these in class daily but any practise at home always helps.

Dear Parents/Guardians and Children,

 

I hope you have all had a fab summer and are looking forward to the next year of teaching and learning, I sure am! 
 

Please ensure all belongings are clearly labelled so that we can do our best to reunite lost property with its owner. 
 

Homework (we will settle into school before homework begins)

  • 1 page of Maths
  • 1 page of English 
  • Spellings (will be tested)
  • Read every day (10 mins or more) Please sign your child's reading record so that we can keep track of the reading taking place. It makes all the difference to learning.
     

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to approach myself or Mrs T, we will do our best to help.
